Leather Notebook and Drawstring Pouch Workshop

We are very pleased to be welcoming back this wonderful introduction to working with leather, where you will make not one but two fantastic items in a day!

This workshop will be an informative and inspiring workshop, using traditional techniques to make two beautiful leather items. Designed for beginners, this workshop will see you learning a collection of skills to make a handy leather drawstring pouch perfect for storing coins, dog treats, or other treasures, and a leather notebook ideal for sketching, creative writing, or lists!

During your day you will learn how to; dye (yes, dye) and prepare leather, hand stitch using the two needle saddlery method, edge and finish the leather. All skills you will be able to apply to your own projects after your day with us.

The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make both leather items will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day.
