William Gleason has studied Aikido for over 55 years, having spent the first 10 years of his practice in Japan deeply immersed in the relaxed, powerful, and direct teaching style of Yamaguchi Seigo Shihan.

Gleason Shihan continually deepens his teaching, always sharing profound insights and perspectives. His instruction highlights the inner workings of Aiki within Aikido practice, inviting students to connect more fully with the spiritual and energetic foundations of the art.
