The session begins with a beautiful guided relaxation, Gong Yoga Nidra sound journey with a selection of sacred instruments including Himalayan Bowls, Sacred Conch, Wind, Moon or Chiron Gongs, Koshi Chimes and other beautiful tonal instruments.Arrive from 7pm to park and settle into a cosy spot lying on a floor mattress or seated. Mattresses, bolsters and blankets and eye masks are provided - or you may like to bring a your own rug or eye covering, journal and pen, and drinking water. Session starts at 7.15pm. We have small groups (maximum 11) so you can experience sound unique to the moment and to the small group of people present.Yoga mats, cushions, blankets and eye-covers are available, and you may like to bring your own closed water bottle. We start with an introduction to the session and the gongs, some gentle breathing and relaxation exercises, and then experience approx. 70 minutes of the guided yoga nidra with a period of deep sound immersion, followed by stillness, a gentle 'wake-up' soundscape and time for relaxing,oracel cards, journalling, and any questions - or just to relax and enjoy the space. Yoga nidra is a beautiful way into deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation, soulful and spiritual insight. Yoga nidra, or 'yogic sleep', invites your body to relax and rebalance, and invites your consciousness to be present: awake, aware, and at one. The combination of a gentle guiding voice and the magical sounds of the Gongs, help to bridge outer and inner, left brain and right brain, form and formlessness, creating a powerful holistic safe space for you to enjoy deep relaxation and renewal. Every gong bath /sound journey is different - unique to the energy of the moment and the people gathered to share in it.Jackie brings a lifetime’s experience of creative wellbeing facilitation as an artist/educator, yoga teacher (600 hr trainings), sound healer, Reiki Master and founder of Trevellan Magic Space eco-retreat near Falmouth.Travel directions will be sent on purchase of ticket.We welcome donations to support the work and enable us to offer supported and free volunteer places to those needing help.
