Beginning Sunday, February 8, 2026 adults are invited to participate in a new Sunday School class titled “Christianity 101: Building a Faith that Is Grounded and Growing.” Taught by Rex Stouffer, this foundational course will meet on Sundays at 10:15–11:15 a.m. and is designed to strengthen believers’ understanding of core Christian doctrine while equipping them to live out and defend their faith with confidence.

This 10-week course offers attendees a clear, biblically grounded overview of Christianity, including training in hermeneutics, apologetics, evangelism, discipleship, and the attributes of God. Whether participants are new to the faith, returning to church, or seeking a deeper theological foundation, Christianity 101 provides practical tools for spiritual growth and gospel engagement.

10 Session Course Schedule:

Session 1 – February 8: God


Session 2 – February 15: The Bible


Session 3 – February 22: The Human Condition


No class on March 1 due to all-church prayer following the worship service. All are welcome to join in prayer.
Class 4 – March 8: Jesus Christ


Session 5 – March 15: The Work of Christ


Session 6 – March 22: The Holy Spirit


Session 7 – March 29: The Church


No class on April 5 due to Easter.

Session 8 – April 12: Christian Living


Session 9 – April 19: Christ’s Return


Session 10 – April 26: Response & Eternal Destiny


Course Objectives

Participants will...

Understand the 10 doctrinal points of the EFCA Statement of Faith

Learn to interpret and apply Scripture using sound hermeneutical principles

Engage in evangelism with clarity and confidence

Defend the Christian faith through culturally relevant apologetics

Grow in personal discipleship and intentionally disciple others

Christianity 101 is open to all adults and requires no prior theological training—just a desire to grow in faith and understanding.
