- **Event Description**: Calling all night owls! We need your help in discovering what moths frequent Swiss Valley Preserve. Bring a headlamp (red light feature recommended) and come prepared to hike through the woods at night where we will have a light trap set up to attract the different moth species. The later in the evening we are, the more diversity in moths we should see (Luna moths typically come out after 11:00pm). 
As the moths are attracted to the light, we will use field guides and online identification apps to document the species. No experience is needed, just curiosity and the want to see some cool things.
