Making Mooo-lah (recommended ages 6-12) - Work together on a life-size game board to see if you can run a financially successful farm.
Penny Pinchers' Party (recommended ages 6-12) - Become a party planner, help your client stay on budget, and work to be the Party Champion who throws the most entertaining event.
Pet Cents (recommended ages 8-12) - Adopt a pet, take on the financial responsibilities of pet ownership, and reach your goal of meeting all of your pet's needs on a budget.
This program is brought to you by the Thinking Money for Kids Grant through ALA and FINRA. This grant helps to provide engaging kids programs about financial education through age-appropriate play. Designed and vetted by children's librarians and financial experts.
Be sure to check out a Playaway Launchpad, a pre-loaded tablet with digital financial literacy content! No internet service needed. Find it in our catalog or ask any library staff member to help you place a hold. They are available at the McClure Branch at any time.
