- **Event Description**: For nearly two decades, saxophonist Dan Burke has been integral to both the Chicago and greater Midwest music scenes. His distinctive approach to music has awarded him the experience playing with some of the world’s top musicians, including Jason Marsalis, Clark Terry, and Charles McPherson. As a leader or sideman, Burke has performed at some of Chicago’s premier venues, including The Green Mill and Andy’s Jazz Club, and headlining the Chicago Blues Fest. Burke holds a B.M. from Northern Illinois University and an M.M. from DePaul University. 

Dan Burke’s Syncopated Society Band carries on the joyous spirit of early jazz with the same reckless abandon that first made them moderately suspicious figures in 
polite company. Performing timeless standards, hot 
jazz favorites, stomps, blues, and forgotten melodies from America’s golden age, the band remains 
committed to preserving the music, style, and occasional confusion of a bygone era. 

Cost- Members $10.00, Non-members $15.00, students free. Tickets sold at the door.

Beverages are available for purchase.
Food may be brought in, no drinks.
