We will be tapping beers from some of our favorite Illinois women brewers to showcase how these women are bettering the craft beer industry with their creativity and ingenuity.

We will be featuring the following:
***Scratch Brewing Company – Sassafras Lager - Scratch's motto is to produce beer with a distinct terroir that reflects the specific environment around their brewery by using local ingredients. Marika, with Scratch, has been a role model for Nightjar’s beer program and has inspired us to use local ingredients in our beer whenever possible.

***Riverland's Brewing Company - Never Meek English Dark Mild - Brianna with Riverland's has been a pivotal part within the Illinois Pink Boots Society.  Brianna was one of the first people within the Illinois beer industry to welcome and support our own brewer, Cassy, when she joined Pink Boots four years ago. Being able to showcase a friend's beer is one of those cool full circle moments for Nightjar!

*** Nightjar - Ninkasi's Legacy Hibiscus & Rose Hip Blonde Ale - This beer is inspired by one of the earliest Sumatran Goddesses, Ninkasi, the goddess of beer and brewing. We wanted to honor the OG women brewer of history with an easy drinking, lightly botanical beer. A beer so refreshing that Ninkasi herself would ask for a second pint!

We will also have some more surprises on the menu just for this event, including a cocktail featuring Thorton Distilling's Pink Thoughts gin, that was distilled in collaboration with the Illinois chapter of the Pink Boots Society. Make sure to stop in and try these amazing woman crafted drinks before they're gone!
