- **Event Description**: Join us for a special Let’s Dance Taster Day as part of the national Let’s Dance Campaign! 

We’re teaming up with fantastic local dance teachers to offer a full day of free taster sessions at YMCA Cornwall — from ballet to qigong, tai chi, line dancing, tap, flamenco and more.

Each session is 45 minutes long, followed by a 15‑minute break so you can rest and reset. Refreshments will be available in our coffee shop.

Full Schedule:
09.00–09.45 Qigong – Christelle (Impact: Low)
10.00–10.45 Classical Dance – Rachel (Impact: Medium)
11.00–11.45 Tai Chi – Nick (Impact: Low)
12.00–12.30 Chair-Based Dance (in the café) – Rachel (Impact: Low)
12.00–12.45 Kids Dance (age 5+, parent/guardian must be present) – Robyn (Impact: High)
13.00–13.45 Beginners Line Dance – Sue (Impact: Medium)
14.00–14.45 Tap Dance – Joy (Impact: Medium)
15.00–15.45 Flamenco Dance – Claudia (Impact: Medium)
16.00–16.45 Feel Good Movement – Rachel (Impact: Low)

About the Let’s Dance Campaign:

Let’s Dance is a UK‑wide initiative founded by Angela Rippon CBE and supported by organisations including the Sport and Recreation Alliance, NHS Social Prescribing, Parkinson’s UK and leading dance bodies. The goal is simple: get the nation dancing by making movement joyful, accessible and open to everyone, no matter your age, fitness or experience.
