A Winter Solstice Gathering at the Old Primary School

As the longest night of the year settles around us, we gather in warmth and stillness — a gentle pause to soften, release, and rekindle the quiet ember within.

We begin with spiced chai by candlelight before entering a three‑round sauna ritual:
• Round 1 — Ayurvedic grounding scrub (oat, ginger, sesame, rose)
• Round 2 — Pine & rosemary solstice scrub (cleansing + clearing)
• Round 3 — Silent integration with resonance breath

After writing reflections, we move into a deeply restorative yoga practice followed by a guided Yoga Nidra themed around winter’s descent and the returning light.

We close with a letting‑go ritual at the log burner and a nourishing winter supper — a dal or seasonal stew — shared slowly as the evening unwinds.

A ceremony of warmth, release and renewal as we cross the threshold into winter together.
