Gardening Lady Foraging and Fermentation Workshop

Discover the art of wild fermentation and foraging for gut health.

Reconnect with nature and nourish your body in this hands on foraging and fermentation workshop. It's a perfect experience for beginners who want to create their own probiotic rich foods and drinks from natures's bounty.

Fermented foods like sauerkraut and fermented drinks like kombuchaare making are having a resurgence and for good reason. They are bursting with flavour, rich in vitamins, minerals, and gut loving probiotics that support digestion and overall wellbeing.

We’ll begin with a gentle guided foraging walk, where you’ll learn how to safely identify and harvest seasonal wild ingredients. Then, back in the workshop, you’ll discover how to turn your finds into delicious, living foods. You will make your own jar of classic sauerkraut infused with wild flavours, and a seperate jar of lacto fermented wild garlic. This is to show you how to preserve your wild garlic and enjoy it all year round.

Along the way, you’ll gain all the essential know-how for fermenting safely and sustainably, taste a range of homemade ferments for inspiration, and leave ready to continue your own fermentation journey with confidence.

All ingredients, equipment, and wild refreshments are provided.
