Granny Get-Down: A Cook-Off Celebration

Join Council on Aging for this delectable tasting event - Granny Get-Down: A Cook-Off Celebration, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Sanders Beach Corinne Jones Resource Center from 11 am to 2 pm benefitting our AmeriCorps Seniors.
Granny Get-Down features the culinary talents of our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers! Attendees sample homemade specialties cooked up by Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion volunteers, while also supporting these lifechanging programs. Attendees of all ages enjoy cooking demonstrations by local chefs, kids’ activities, music, raffles, door prizes, and more!
Tickets are $20 general admission, $10 for adults age 55 and up. Kids under 12 FREE.
