Join Emerald Coast Belly Dance and special guest instructor Elehm for a hands-on 4-week Bedlah Construction Lab designed to guide you through the process of building your own professional-style two-piece belly dance costume (bedlah). Whether you're preparing for future performances or simply want to learn the art of costume construction, this guided lab offers personalized instruction in a supportive, creative environment. Dates & Time: Thursdays in August August 6 August 13 August 20 August 27 5:30–7:30 PM Location: The Chapel Creative Collective 1010 N. 12th Ave. Pensacola, FL 32501 Suite 211 Registration: $135 Includes all four sessions (8 hours of guided instruction) Pre-registration is required. Registration is for the complete 4-week series only. What's Included: Participants will receive: *Eight hours of guided instruction and coaching *Gold or silver Mystique spandex for covering your costume (your choice) *Bra strap elastic and selected construction materials *Individual guidance throughout the construction process After registering, participants will be contacted to select their preferred fabric color so materials can be purchased in advance. What You'll Need to Bring: Participants will provide: *A sturdy underwire bra with stiff molded cups *Basic sewing notions if available (scissors, pins, measuring tape, etc.) *A limited number of shared sewing tools will be available during class. ECBD Caravan Students: Students choosing the provided gold or silver Mystique spandex will be creating a costume suitable for future Emerald Coast Belly Dance Caravan student performances. Participants who are not interested in creating a Caravan costume are welcome to choose their own stretch fabric instead. Those participants will provide their own costume fabric while still receiving the same guided instruction throughout the series. **If you plan to use your own fabric, please check with Elehm first to make sure your chosen stretch fabric is appropriate for covering the bra and belt base.
