In order for us to prepare for induction and know who will be attending, we need you to sign up to the relevant induction day. Please ensure that you arrive before 10.30am so that you have time to sign in.
There will be refreshments at 10.00 to enable you to meet other new students before talks begin at 10:30. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know by Friday 19 December 2025.
Which induction you will attend will depend on what campus you are based at. If you are unable to attend induction or are based at distance, we will be hosting an online welcome as well as a webinar; however, we recommend that you attend a face to face induction where possible.
Registration closes Monday 5th January at 23.59pm (GMT).

Quieter Sessions and Spaces
At Exeter, we know that people learn best in different environments. Starting a new course – and meeting lots of new people – can feel overwhelming. If you prefer quieter spaces or smaller groups, we offer the following at all in-person PGR Inductions:
Freedom to Move
You are free to come and go during the session. If you need a bathroom break or time to breathe and self-regulate, please feel able to step out. You will not interrupt the presenters or appear rude.
We only ask that you leave and return as quietly as possible so others can focus.
Quiet Room
We provide a signposted quiet room for anyone who needs a calm space during the induction. You are also welcome to use outdoor areas or the on-site café.
Members of the PGR Induction Support Team (wearing green sashes) can help you find the quiet room discreetly.
The room will stay open for a couple of hours after the session so you can decompress before continuing your day.
Smaller ‘Serious Lego Workshop’
Our main Lego Serious Play session is popular but can be loud. This year, we are also running a smaller, quieter version of the workshop in a separate room.
This session will be led by a staff member who creates a calm and supportive atmosphere. You will still have chances to talk and connect with other PGRs, but in a quieter space.
If you choose the quieter workshop, you will receive an email with room details. Ushers in green sashes will also be available to guide you.
If you would like to attend the quieter group, please tick the box below.
Additional Access Requirements
Our aim is to help you feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported.
If you have any other access needs or adjustments that would help you enjoy the induction, please email Kelyn or Alice at cmVzZWFyY2hlcmRldmVsb3BtZW50IHwgZXhldGVyICEgYWMgISB1aw==. They will work with you to create a personalised plan.
All requests will be supported with kindness, respect, and discretion.
