About Your Art Guide:

Kevin brings a gentle, grounded energy to Observer Ranch—part artist, part guide, and full-time believer in creative freedom. With a calm, non-judgmental approach, he creates welcoming spaces where kids and adults alike feel safe to explore, experiment, and express what’s inside them— no pressure, no “right way” to make art.

With a wide range of experience across mediums and work experiences, Kevin knows that the best creations often come from curiosity, patience, and letting go of perfection—kind of like life at a campground. His workshops invite families to slow down, get messy, and discover what happens when art is allowed to unfold naturally.

When he’s not facilitating creative experiments at the Ranch, Kevin is a homeschooling dad who understands firsthand how powerful learning can be when it’s hands-on, curiosity-led, and rooted in connection. He brings that same thoughtful, playful spirit to every workshop—meeting each person right where they are.
