They are about stepping into your power celebrating your body and self and connecting with your body. We will cover burlesque with a fusion of other styles including 20s - 60s vintage dance, silk veil fan dance, bellydance and temple dance styles focusing on dance as an embodied ritual in which we honour and celebrate ourself! We will work two routines over two sessions with COMPLETELY optional performances.The Moonflower Movement classes will help us build up a repertoire of dance movements and help you explore all the different ways to move your body and what your body is capable of with optional empowering burlesque fusion performance opportunities available to dancers future shows.The space is bathed in a tea light for each class as we connect with our bodies and each other and take back our power as beautiful, sensual dancers owning our bodies and reveling in its beauty!
