Australia Day 2020
A cool change is coming to Penrith’s Australia Day celebration in 2020.
The new venue, Cables Wake Park, is one of Penrith’s favourite water sport and aquatic playground. It’s the perfect place to escape the hot summer heat, make a splash and hours of fun with your family and friends.
Get ready for a full day of water play with:
• Free one-hour wakeboarding sessions - (BOOKED OUT)
• Free one-hour Aqua Park sessions
(Age limits apply and pre-registration required)
• Splash pad, water slides, jumping castle and a range of fun water activities for kids under 6yrs.
• Live music, food vendors and two on-water stunt shows by Australia’s best wakeboarders at 12pm and 3pm.

Located in the heart of Penrith, Cables Wake Park is easy to get to with public transport options close by, parking on site and a free shuttle service from Jamison Park at Batt Street (near Netball Courts)
Conditions of entry to Cables Wake Park include:
No smoking. No alcohol. No glass. No pets. No take-away food/drink. No skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bikes. No aggressive behaviour. Children must be supervised at all times.
Plus if you’re keen for a swim you can dive into some fun at Ripples Leisure Centres with free entry to both Penrith and St Marys pools on Australia Day from 9am-5pm.
