- **Event Description**: Join us for an immersive Mushroom Foraging Workshop, where we’ll step into the world of wild fungi and learn how to identify them first hand. This isn’t your typical “show and tell” experience, it’s a full, hands-on journey for beginners to get out into nature, explore, hunt and identify mushrooms on your own.

We’ll begin our adventure with a foraging walk through fields and woodlands keeping our eyes peeled for mushrooms. We’ll teach you what to look out for and how to recognise different types of mushrooms using sight, smell and touch.

Once we’ve gathered our finds, we’ll return to camp to further examine and identify the mushrooms together. You’ll learn how to identify edible varieties as well as those to avoid. We’ll gather around for a cosy campfire lunch to enjoy some wholesome organic mushroom inspired food. It’s the perfect way to relax and refuel after a day of foraging!

By the end of the workshop you’ll have the skills and confidence to continue foraging and identifying mushrooms on your own 🍄
