The Year of the Horse focuses on core aspects of the horse himself - movement, freedom, and courage. This coming year invites creativity and movement forward in our lives, supported by the structured courage inspired by our four-legged friend. At Celebration of the Horse, our evening will include a special raffle for Sundance Horse Rescue. Located in Penn Valley, CA, Sundance Horse Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit welfare organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of injured, neglected, abused, abandoned or unwanted horses. They provide horses with a safe, healthy haven to recover, heal and return to good physical and emotional health before being adopted into caring and loving, forever homes. This incredible organization is a great example of the impact generous and patient humans can have on these animals’ lives. In honor of Sundance Horse Rescue, we will be raffling off two beautiful Painted Pony busts through the month of November. All proceeds from raffle tickets will go to Sundance Horse Rescue and the winners will be drawn at Celebration of the Horse. The busts will be on display at Sundance Horse Rescue and WCEST - raffle tickets may be purchased in person at either location or through Venmo. The evening will also include a silent auction featuring an entire collection of Painted Pony figurines, generously donated in honor of the horse. Say When Charcuterie will be providing tasty food for all event goers. Included in the price of your ticket, this wonderful local family serves up plates of goodies perfect for strolling. The horses of RASP and MHPS will be out and about for visits. Swing by Sundance Horse Rescue’s booth to visit with some of their beautiful animals available for adoption. Once you’re done there, venture over to one of the photo op stations and take some pictures to remember the night by! Event tickets will be available for pre-sale at $30 each. Tickets will be $40 each day of the event.
