As we wander, we’ll pause for a cozy storytime and take time to notice the small but powerful signs that spring is on its way: ? Swelling buds in the trees ? Skunk cabbage emerging from the wetlands ? Birds returning in songReminder: It is MUD SEASON (the perfect time for looking for animal tracks?). This play date is designed for families with young children who want to get outside, move their bodies, and practice the art of noticing together.What To Bring: Weather appropriate outdoor clothing & shoes Water, snacks, and anything basics your little one might need We will provide light snacksWhat To Expect:Nature-based play opportunitiesOpportunities for families to explore at their own pace Time to meet other families who love nature Things To Consider: Children who cannot walk should be carried. This trail is wheelchair accessible and stroller accessible. This trail is busy on nice days , including bicycles.This is a public park, other visitors and/or dogs will be present. You are responsible for your child at all times.
