Photo Exploration Hike: Ira Trailhead Beaver Marsh at Sunset

The Beaver Marsh at sunset is a great place to slow down and explore the park through the lens of a camera.

Join NPS volunteer photographer, Rick Santich, for a photo scavenger hunt. We'll discuss telling your stories with your photos, as well as some photography basics. After the scavenger hunt, participants will share their photos.

• All skill levels welcome.
• Bring your own smartphone or camera.
• The hike will be less than two miles at your own pace on flat terrain.
• Be prepared for wintry conditions.

About Rick Santich

Rick is a volunteer photographer for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. His photos are frequently used on the park's social media, website, and printed materials. The park asks Rick to help tell the story of CVNP.

For 29 years, Rick owned and operated MotoPhoto/ProEventPhoto. The business offered photo printing, family portraits, school pictures, and sports team and individual pictures. Additionally, ProEventPhoto excelled in sports action photography and was recognized for its photo, video, and livestreaming services for major national figure skating and cheerleading events, including those presented by US Figure Skating.

He is an accomplished landscape photographer with his work presented in numerous photography exhibitions.
