While we may be tempted to get our steps in or consider every walk a workout, a mindfulness walk invites you to slow your pace and employ your senses to take in the natural world around you. Mindfulness walks can take on many forms, sometimes silent or practicing breathwork. Other times, isolating one sense at a time. In these moments, you are encouraged to let go of the stresses of the day and simply enjoy the natural environment.Accessibility note: This program takes place on primitive, mowed paths with slight elevation change.Participants are welcome to bring trekking poles or a hiking staff for added support. As noted above, mindfulness walks are intentionally slow-paced with frequent stops for discussion.
