While many people share experiences of catching fireflies as children on summer nights, this program will open up the fantastic nature of fireflies in a whole new light. Join Carly Martin as we learn about what makes a firefly what it is, how diverse they are, what kinds of fireflies are both poisonous and venomous, and how wonderful it all is.Carly Martin has been a naturalist for Cleveland Metroparks since 1998. She has varied interests including insects, children's programming, experiential learning, and making nature learning an adventure.
