Nature is alive, full of energy and spirit and wonder. Her magic is felt in all that is around us, not only in the life that grows, but in the elements, the earth, the water and the air. The plants and the trees are infused with this magic, and in themselves are wise healers, not only through the medicine they contain, but by their very presence.
Take a walk beside the water, across the fields and through the woods, and on the way encounter over 30 trees and plants thriving in their chosen environment.
Learn about their magical and healing properties, the natural medicines they contain, and why they are so special.
Each tree or plant that you meet upon the walk will have it’s own tale to tell, for each is a teacher in itself.
Among many others, you can expect to learn about:
▫️The Willow who lives by the water, a tree of dreaming, creation and intuition.
▫️Agrimony, who protects, renews, and helps us become who we really are.
▫️Yarrow, healer of wounds, and bringer of balance within.
▫️Elder, who lives between the worlds. A wise healer, there to help us through times of transition.
▫️Self Heal, who aids communication and expression of the true self.
You will then be able to put into practice some of what has been learnt, as you create your own herbal healing and magically infused incense from dried herbs and resin that will be brought to the session. The incense can be taken home with you so that you can feel the benefits from the herbs you have chosen.

Additional information.
The morning’s session will commence from outside the café situated in the car park at Cosmeston.
The walk will be taken at a relaxed pace, and we will be making our way around the lake and through the trees and some of the field space that surrounds it. The distance of the walk will be approximately just over 1 mile.
Footwear suitable for walking outdoors through woodland is recommended.
Please bring a drink with you to the session.
All materials for making the incense will be provided.
For anyone who wishes to, we can gather together for lunch/refreshment following the session.
