UPCOMING SENSORY AND BUSHCRAFT SESSION:
The first of our longer Winter indoor and outdoor sensory sessions will take place on Sunday 30th November at Glyndwr Community Centre.
As well as the usual warm welcome, sensory play and exploration, we'll have arts and crafts, refreshments, and KeyCreate music/story/drama workshop and games.
In addition we have the fabulous outdoor enthusiasts Natur Hud offering bushcraft activities. This session they'll focus on:
Wild Starts: Shelter, Fire & Forest Flair:
Shelter-building with autumn materials (tarps, sticks, leaves)
Fire lighting demo with safe supervision
Willow stars and quoits crafted with seasonal touches (pinecones, acorns)
All activities and timings are offered with no obligation to join in
The sessions are between 10.30 and 2.30pm and suitable for children/young people of all ages with any diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs and disabilities, PMLD, life limiting conditions, and mental health issues. We have changing facilities on site.
We will put the booking link up asap but please comment or message to register interest so that we know whether to split the session
Christmas party will then take place on Saturday 20th December 2pm until 6pm with lots of fun and festivities planned, just for your diaries
