- **Event Description**: David Woodell is an 11 year old who is currently battling neuroblastoma. It is a rare form of pediatric cancer. David's form is usually in the adrenal glands. David's treatment involves going back and forward to the Cancer Center in Chapel Hill getting several Cycles of Chemotherapy, Collecting Stem Cells for Bone Marrow transplant. The stem cells will be given back to him later in his treatment. During that treatment it will require 30 days stay in Chapel Hill. While there David will have to undergo surgery and more radiation. The hope is that the immunotherapy, which will repair his immune system. We ask you to keep David and his family in your prayers. This battle has took a physical, mental, emotional and financial toll on David's family. We invite you to join us at the Pembroke Rescue Squad in Pembroke, NC on Friday February 6, 2026 as well Battle For David and try to help lighten the financial burden.
