Join us at Dewslake Farm for a magical morning of family theatre as Forest Friends Theatre bring Wings in the Willows to life!
Written by Lynda Dare, this joyful immersive production takes you on an entertaining adventure into the Wild Wood and along the riverbank. Bursting with song, dance, drama, live music and plenty of comedy, this vibrant show offers a fresh, modern twist on Kenneth Grahame’s much-loved classic.
The Wild Wooders are on a mission to protect their rivers and woodlands from pollution, but can they persuade the reckless Mr. Toad to change his ways… or even become an unlikely hero for nature? Expect laughter, energy, and plenty of opportunities to feel part of the story in this engaging outdoor theatre experience.
Fancy dress is warmly encouraged. Whether you’re a mischievous Mr. Toad, a wise Badger or your own woodland creation, come dressed as your favourite forest friend and become part of the Wild Wood!
Performance Information: The show will take place outdoors if the weather allows, making the most of our beautiful farm setting. If we need shelter, the performance will move into the barn. There will be some picnic benches available, but please feel free to bring camp chairs or picnic blankets for your comfort.
Food & Drink: The Rowan Tree Café will be open perfect if you’d like breakfast before the show, lunch afterwards… or both!
Bring the whole family and step into the Wild Wood for a heartwarming, hilarious and inspiring theatrical adventure!
Tickets: £12 adults and £8 children plus booking fee.
