OUR PLAN FOR THIS CLIMATE ACTIVISTS' SOCIAL
>>>  We "CLIMATEERS" (that's you and me and our pals) wll
gather at 11 AM In the Lower Hall at Calvin United Church, then: 

11:15 AM: (** weather permitting**) we will walk through downtown; ringing bells of hope for all lives on our planet, including the water, earth, air, & forests; carrying a few placards and banners, and, as we go, sharing our brand new pamphlet:  “From Global to Local: 
Yes THERE IS Useful Climate Action YOU Can Do”

Noon to 2 PM: we are back at Calvin United Church, Lower Hall
>>>  door prize t-shirts, and pamphlets for everyone to take home
>>>  a potluck (let us know if you can contribute)
>>>  music from Angel’s Share and Ravenwood Hollow
>>> “singalong” (our songbook has familiar tunes with climate lyrics)
>>>  opportunities for discussion about what happened (or didn’t) at the global COP-30 conference, and about federal and provincial climate plans (or absence thereof)
>>> honouring local politicians’ climate/environment accomplishments (if you know a community that deserves recognition, please email us that info -- contact info below)

Bring YOURSELF, friends & family, and ~ and IF YOU CAN (no STRESS !!!!), help us make this gathering lots of fun ~ bring bells to ring, handheld instruments for the singalong, & potluck donations. NOTE: we have protective masks to share if you wish.

Bear in mind what the wonderful and wise Dr. Jane Goodall said:
“Think locally, and then you have the courage to act globally.  If you only think globally to start with, you won't have the energy to act.” This Saturday midday event is gonna be a good time. Join us?
