- **Event Description**: Come enjoy a hands-on foraging experience at Tucker Preserve, with this fantastic Foraging Walk with Diana Burnell of Edible Excursions. You’ll be able to get out in the great outdoors and learn about the edible flora that are right outside your door. Diana will be bringing with her a selection of wild-crafted snacks and drinks to enjoy around lunch time. The walk will last approximately 3 hours. 

We will be meeting at the Ludden's Ford Park parking lot and setting out from there. See the Tucker Preserve page on the Wildlands Trust website for directions. This event is done with permission of Wildlands Trust, the land trust responsible for the Tucker Preserve.

About the presenter: 

Born and raised on the seacoast of New Hampshire, Diana Burnell has been passionate about connecting people to nature, food and the outdoors for as long as she can remember. She received a master’s degree from Emerson College, and moved to LA to work as an audio engineer and sound designer. She settled in Newton, MA in 2013 and has been foraging ever since, starting Edible Excursions Wild Foods in 2016, and offering private classes, guided group walks, home/land owner surveys, wild picnics, and lectures around New England since 2019.
