- **Event Description**: In partnership with Pella Corporation, we are excited to welcome Rachelle Chase to Pella to tell the amazing story of Buxton, Iowa - the lost coal mining community that was located twenty miles south of Pella. ​Rachelle Chase is a podcaster, columnist, public speaker, and author of eight published books and novellas, including "Creating the Black Utopia of Buxton, Iowa" and "Lost Buxton."

The event will be held at the Pella Corporation auditorium. Enter through the main Pella Corporation headquarters at the south end of Main Street, where you will be directed to the auditorium. Free and open to the public. No sign-up required.
