Celebrate community and the spirit of the season at Christmas in The Caverns: Symphony & Sing Off on Friday, December 5.
Presented in partnership with the University of the South and the South Cumberland Community Fund, this free underground event features a live performance by the Sewanee Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Mario Alejandro Torres, and will showcase local voices in a vocal competition. Will you be one of them?
Whether you’re a shower singer or a seasoned performer, we want to hear you! Auditions for the Sing Off are open now through September 15. Submit at least two vocal performances using MP3s, video links, or TikTok link. One of your submissions must include a required song: “Santa Baby,” “Santa Dear,” or “It Wouldn’t Be Christmas Without You.”
The competition is open to residents of the South Cumberland region or those with strong ties to the area. Submit your audition now at TheCaverns.com/SingOff.
Finalists will perform live with the orchestra during the concert, and top performers, including a crowd favorite, will win cash prizes, Caverns perks, and more.
This concert is free to attend, but seating is limited and RSVP is required. Free tickets will be available to reserve starting October 15:
