A Critter Filled Christmas

Join us on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Oak Mountain Interpretive Center as we celebrate the holiday season with a Critter Filled Christmas!

Educational Programming: Join Park Interpreters and learn who crawls, hops, and slithers at Oak Mountain State Park while meeting our Teacher Creatures! This program, called Scales and Tails, will be at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm! Meet LIVE animals up close!

FUN/Crafty Citizen Science: Make a Christmas Tree Themed Bird Feeder! Make the feeder with us and let the birds in your yard enjoy a Christmas snack!

Craft Corner: Make a Christmas Card and/or write a Letter to Santa! We will have all the craft supplies you need to make the perfect Christmas card or decorate your letter to Santa!

Christmas Movie: We will have a movie playing throughout the day for you to enjoy! Take a break and enjoy a seasonal favorite!
