The Windcraft Music Fest is back this summer for its 11th edition, transforming the picturesque village of Katydata into a vibrant hub of music and culture from 25 to 27 July 2025. Known for its unique focus on wind instruments and its seamless blend of tradition with modernity, the festival offers a one-of-a-kind musical experience that brings people together in celebration of creativity, connection, and community.
This year’s programme features two full days of concerts with an eclectic international line-up, showcasing world-class musicians and special artistic collaborations. On the third day, the entire village comes alive with a community brass party and free performances, turning every corner of Katydata into a stage.
Expect an adventurous mix of sounds—from jazz laced with Middle Eastern and Balkan influences, to experimental fusions of folk, electronic, and contemporary music. Hear beatboxing blend with woodwinds, flutes and Bulgarian voices soaring over electronics and drones, and brass grooves that will carry you to the dancefloor.
Windcraft isn’t just a music festival—it’s an invitation to join in. Through a range of interactive workshops, jam sessions, and hands-on activities, festivalgoers of all ages can explore music-making, improvisation, and the intersection of arts. Immersive activities will offer moments of family fun, alongside the exploration of the village, the connection with nature and the fostering of sustainable practices.
