Women's Self Defense Class

Join us for a 2-hour women’s basic self-defense seminar! This seminar will include an introduction to situational awareness, understanding personal space, hands-on practice of basic self-defense (tailored for women, including – grips, leverage, maintaining distance, and using everyday objects for defense), verbal de-escalation, maintaining spatial awareness, emergency response planning, and a Q&A session.

The goal of this seminar is for participants to leave with practical knowledge and confidence in self-protection.

Class presented by Phil Mahan
- Current Peoria Police Officer -- 20 years
- Retired Military Veteran.
- Joshua Janis Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- 12 years of grappling experience.
- Current Instructor at Fir Na Dli Jiu-Jitsu

Open only to girls and women, ages 13 and older.
