Step into the story of the Isle of Man’s National Treasures and get hands-on with history. Inspired by the new exhibition at the House of Manannan, you’ll design and decorate your own wooden treasure box, then fill it with chocolate coins/buttons to take home.
You’ll hear about the real treasures that inspired the activity from Bronze Age jewellery to Viking silver and gold and learn what makes them so special to the Island’s past.
This hands-on workshop is ideal for families and anyone aged 8 and up who enjoys making and learning. You’ll leave with a handmade treasure box and a little bit of chocolate treasure.
Workshops take place at 11am and 1pm.
