#1 Expert talk by András Fincza (Tech Lead, XUND): The Art of Working Together
Software engineering is far more than writing code and managing developers, it’s about how people with different skills come together to build great products. In this talk, Draven shares why true productivity comes from collaboration. Through stories and practical concepts, he’ll explore what makes cross-functional teams click and how to create an environment and culture where engineers, designers, and product managers truly work together.
#2 Talent spotlight with iExpo 2024-winners Kristóf Ignácz (Business Analyst, Webstar) and Mátyás Regényi (Project Manager, weCan): PTE Chatbot – From Classroom to Production
The PTE Chatbot is a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based solution developed for the University of Pécs to support students, prospective students and university staff in navigating the institution’s extensive document ecosystem. The project began as an academic concept in a Project Management course, aiming to explore how AI could improve access to university information across multiple organizational units.
Following the initial classroom prototype, The prototype presentation convinced our classmates and our teacher, and thanks to him we had the opportunity to implement a PoC as part of an internal university IT project. In 2024 December we've won the iExpo at KTK in Innovation category, with the most votes overall. After a successful PoC, development continued toward a production-ready system in collaboration with several internal teams, internal and external consultants within the Smart University program.
The chatbot is designed to integrate multiple data sources and organizational units, offering accurate, context-aware responses to diverse user groups. This presentation will outline the project’s evolution from a student initiative to a full-scale university AI application, including its architecture, development process, and implementation challenges.

Purpose
The purpose of the series is to build a vibrant local tech community in Pécs by creating a welcoming, international space for mutual learning, cultural exchange, and language practice. It offers students valuable, hands-on insights into the tech industry while also showcasing emerging talent. At its heart, the series aims to build bridges—between professionals and students, local and international voices, and between fresh ideas and real-world opportunities in technology.
