Anyone remember car shows like Nopi Nationals or 90s car magazines like Import Tuner or Super Street? What about Circuit City parking lot meets with underglow and body kits? Loud paint and loud exhaust. The best era of cars like the Celicas, Integras, 300ZXs, EG and EK Civics, SRT 4 Neons, SVT Focuses, Eclipses, body kitted Mustangs, Lancers, IS300s, and so many more…
If you remember that era or were around the car scene back then, you already know how amazing it was.
That being said… on December 20th, if you remember the glory days of body kits, underglow, tribal graphics, chrome that could blind a man at sunrise, and wheels that were sometimes way too big for the car 😆… that is exactly the meet we are having.
To keep the theme authentic, we are asking that all participants bring cars that fit the era. Cars from about 1985 through 2010 that are modified in true period correct style. Think neon lights, big wings, wild paint, head units that flip out like a spy gadget, and anything that would have made you a legend in the parking lot of Circuit City. Basically… if your ride would look at home in a 1999 tuner magazine or a 2003 racing video game, you are right on point.
The meet will last about an hour. After that, everyone will choose where to grab lunch. Then we will cruise together in a nostalgic pack to the chosen spot and enjoy food as a squad while pretending the year is somewhere between 1997 and 2005 😆.
Come ready to show out, laugh, reminisce, and revive the golden age of tuner culture. See you there… and yes, underglow is absolutely encouraged.
