Walk through Bethlehem

Simpsonwod UMC is thrilled to present its annual Christmas event for the entire community! Wind through a path of luminaries to be greeted by a census taker. You'll then begin your walk through a recreation of the vibrant village of Bethlehem as it may have looked at the time of Jesus' birth.

Admission is free, but we ask you to support our local community by bringing a non-perishable canned food item(s) to the event. Your donation will help provide meals to neighbors in need.

Activities are provided in the village shops for children to have hands-on experiences in basket weaving, carpentry, bread baking, and pottery. As you move toward the live nativity scene with Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus in the manger, you'll be able to touch camels and other animals that surround Mary and Joseph’s stable.

Groups of all ages and sizes are welcome! We hope you'll join us for this truly special opportunity to experience the birth of Christ Jesus.
