- **Event Description**: Join us the morning of Saturday, May 09th and race to end hunger by running or walking in the family-friendly 6th Annual Miles for Midwest 5K.

The 5K course will begin at the Midwest Food Bank Georgia facility and take runners and walkers on a scenic journey along the Peachtree City cart paths. This 5K is a certified course, electronically timed, and even a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier!

Whether you are an experienced runner or just starting out, or want to walk the 5K with a friend, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself while making a difference in the lives of others....and have FUN! This family friendly event includes high energy Zumba warm-ups, TCBY and a double-lane water slide to help cool you off after crossing the finish line! 

Race registration is $45. $5 discount for those under 18 during check-out. In-person registration the morning of the run is $50 for adults and $45 for those under age 18.

There is also a VIRTUAL RUN/WALK option if you can’t make it in person! We would love for you to send us pictures if you do the Miles for Midwest 5K VIRTUAL RUN/WALK!

All proceeds from the race go directly toward our mission to alleviate hunger and malnutrition. Every $1.00 raised allows us to share $30.00 worth of food with our local community!
Please, no strollers, wheelchairs, bikes, or dogs allowed on the run due to liability issues.
