BeStrong was created to help LIVESTRONG alumni continue the connection, encouragement, and healthy habits they build during the 12-week program. LIVESTRONG at the YMCA helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being through small-group exercise, supportive relationships, and guidance from YMCA-certified instructors trained in cancer survivorship, post-rehabilitation exercise, and supportive cancer care.

Step up to the challenge and show your strength that will (literally) raise the bar with our 2-event charity competition! Participants will take on a weighted carry and deadlift with divisions by age group and modified options available—making this event accessible and fun for all fitness levels.

We ask that each participant raise funds by sharing the link provided after registration to family, friends and businesses to support the program. Suggested minimum dollars raised is $100 for each participant.

This exciting event supports a powerful cause: all proceeds will help launch BeStrong, our new support program for graduates of the Y’s Livestrong at the YMCA program for adult cancer survivors.

Online registration is open until Friday, July 24th, at 11:59am.  Registration will be available in person on Sunday, July 26th starting at 8:00 A.M.
