There is word from afar that the wild dragons with no riders are pillaging the lands, trying to steal our hoard of goods and gold. We need to prepare for the invasion. The call for new Defenders has sounded.
The current defenders have served their year of service and require respite. They all will put forth tests to make sure only the most worthy may assume their responsibilities and lead the charge to rid the land of the threats that come.
During the event weekend, a friendly game of clothespin assassination will take place. After the tournaments will be a couple of cash fundraisers to replace our Baronial Pavilion including a resurrection battle for fighters and a battle for the highest score for archery. Resurrection tokens can be acquired for a $5 donation to bring back your local fighters. Be prepared to cheer on your favorite and bring them back to life with donations.
The evening will end with court and a Chili potluck.

Who will take over as the Chili Champion this year?
The Requirements for the Chili are at least 1 protein and 1 bean. Peppers are not required. Please be prepared to list all ingredients for those with allergies.
Those wishing to submit an entry of chili please reach out to www.facebook.com/danyj.bersch (Percival) so we can make sure there will be enough for everyone.
We are asking the populace to bring all the fixings to accompany the chili such as breads, vegetables, sides, and desserts for the potluck.
ASSASSINATION GAME
You will be provided with a heart clothespin and weapon clothespin in your site bag. The goal is to wear the heater pin in a visible place on your back [above the waist, below the neck] and to steal other players' pins while replacing them with your murder stick of intent.
Safely escape the target's notice and return their heart to them a few minutes later. There will be an assassination tracking station near the fighting rings where you can notify the assassins' guild of your accomplishments. We will update the scoreboard throughout the event. The highest K*ll count will win a prize and swag points.
A&S DEFENDER
To stick with the theme of the event of How to Train Your Dragon, this year’s defender challenge will be to create our favorite item(s) from the Norse culture. Here’s your chance to create something you have never tried before, but you loved from the time. You will need to submit two projects. One art-based and one science-based. Documentation is highly encouraged. Please email a Letter of Intent for Arts and Science Defender to Their Excellencies at
