Then, you will learn how to plan, measure, cut, and wrap your box for a unique design. At the end of the workshop, each student will go home with a finished box and the skills to make more on their own!An additional $15.00 materials fee is due to instructor at start of workshop.If you have any questions, please write to paperconnection1@gmail.com or call Monday - Thursday (401)454-1436.About the instructor:Deborah McCarthy is a self taught boxmaker, who has gained her knowledge and skills through decades of hands on experience. Her first real job, at the age of sixteen, was in a box-making factory. Since then, she has gained a lifetime of experience as a boxmaker, including 17 years working at Portfolio Box, formerly on Valley Street in Providence, RI. She is now retired, but continues to make beautiful boxes with handmade paper.
