BARRETT WARNER is a surreal and dark poet called a “mixture of the Marx Brothers, Russell Edson and James Tate, with touches of Dorothy Parker and H.P. Lovecraft.” The author of Why Is It So Hard to K*ll You?, My Friend Ken Harvey, and Until I’m Blue in the Face, he has won numerous poetry prizes.

OPEN MIC will follow Barrett’s reading. All who attend are invited to read one of their own poems. (Please keep your reading to a single poem no longer than a page.)
