Each morning will be spent painting the life model for two hours, with poss ranging from 30 seconds to 20 minutes. After personally picking a still life subject from the Gardens of Atelier Clos Mirabel, you will begin painting preparatory sketches, then progressing to work on longer paintings; experimenting with wet on wet, edge control, composition, shadows, and colour. There will be one free day mid-week for visiting the surrounding area or painting on one’s own.
