- **Event Description**: It's an NAS Patuxent River Halloween tradition! Come out and trick-or-treat at MWR Community Recreation's annual FREE Trunk or Treat on Oct. 30! Dozens of trunks will be decorated and passing out candy at the Navy Exchange parking lot (the event will move to the Drill Hall in the event of inclement weather) from 4-6 p.m., so bring your candy bucket and your favorite costume and join in this fun event for all ages!

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) participants and any children who would prefer trick-or-treating in a sensory-friendly atmosphere are invited to join the Fleet & Family Support Center from 3-4 p.m. in the NEX parking lot. Allergy-friendly, non-food treats will be provided.

Donations of bags of individually wrapped candy and allergy-friendly/non-food treats are greatly appreciated and may be dropped off at the Community Recreation Office Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Volunteer trunks are needed to make this event a success! If your Command, business, organization, family or friends would like to sponsor a trunk, please register online at https://app.smartsheetgov.com/b/form/38c990ec15ae4653b62e0e0f491de640. Candy will be provided by MWR.
