About the event

29th Annual Christmas Tree Festival

Celebrate the season at the 29th Annual Christmas Tree Festival at the Wedell-Williams Aviation & Cypress Sawmill Museum! Families, classrooms, community groups, coworkers, and individuals are invited to decorate a Christmas tree in the museum’s lobby—each one inspired by Louisiana history and culture.

The museum provides a pre-lit tree; you bring the creative decorations. Only 10 trees are available, so be sure to reserve early.

Tree Decorating Window: November 25–December 10

Prizes:
1st place: Pizza party + $150 gift card for the teacher/group leader
2nd place: $100 gift card
3rd place: $50 gift card
