Stanislaus County is hosting their very first Polar Plunge! You are invited to join the inaugural Polar Plunge and make a splash for the athletes of Special Olympics Stanislaus County. The Polar Plunge is NOT a swim. If you can grin and "bear" it, you'll make a quick splash and then dash to the Post Plunge festivities. If the thought of chilly water is "unBEARable", get the thrill without the chill. Register as a chicken and still enjoy the festivities.
Every Plunger and Chicken must raise a minimum of $125 and will receive a Polar Plunge T-shirt and lunch. Participants are encouraged to raise additional funds and earn more incentive rewards.
HOW IT WORKS:

Grab your besties, coworkers, or family and jump in together!
2️⃣ Pick a Fearless Leader & Name Your Squad!
Elect a team captain and brainstorm the most epic team name. (Extra points for puns and frosty humor!)
3️⃣ Hit That Register Button
Sign up and officially join the coolest event of the season. Pro tip: Early birds get more time to plan their costumes!
4️⃣ Fundraise Like a Pro
Spread the word and raise those critical funds for your Special Olympics program. You’re not just plunging—you’re making a difference!
5️⃣ Suit Up & Show Up!
Costumes are a strongly encouraged—go big or go home! Then, bring your energy, smiles, and maybe a towel. Time to take the plunge!
