🚙 Parking is available both in front of, and behind, the Lumberman’s Museum building.
Timeline is as follows…
6:30-6:59 PM: Visit, grab a snack, enter book-ish giveaway, & find a seat!
7:00-8:00 PM: Learn about our author, discuss the book, & draw for the giveaway!
***If you are unable to attend in-person, there will be a virtual discussion post in our group page ( fb.com/groups/ourmainebookclub ) following the meeting so everyone can share their thoughts on the book there!

Blind Date With a Book Swap! 📚🎄
To celebrate the Christmas season, we’re doing something extra cozy and fun at our December meeting — a Blind Date With a Book Swap!
Here’s how it works:
✨ Bring one of your favorite books from your own shelf.
✨ Wrap it up (festive, simple, funny — whatever fits your vibe!).
✨ On the outside, write 3–5 clues that hint at what the book is about without giving it away. Think: themes, vibes, tropes, setting, a mood, or a cryptic teaser.
At the meeting, we’ll each get a chance to pick a wrapped book based on the clues alone and unwrap our new surprise read together!
It’s a sweet way to share stories we love, discover something new, and celebrate the season with a little bookish magic. ❤️🎁
