Λίγα λόγια για τη Μονή

Η Μονή Πορετσού είναι χτισμένη το 1611 και ανακαινισμένη το 2013. Βρίσκεται στα Καλάβρυτα, ανάμεσα στους οικισμούς Αγράμπελα και Πλατανίτσα, περιτριγυρισμένη από πλούσια δάση. Στέκει στους πρόποδες του όρους Ερύμανθου, σε υψόμετρο 900 μέτρων, ακριβώς πάνω απο τις όχθες του Ερύμανθου ποταμού.

Δεν διαθέτει αδελφότητα, αλλά απο το 2023 το διαχειρίζεται η ΑΜΚΕ «Ένας Άλλος Δρόμος» και λειτουργεί ως παραδοσιακός ξενώνας στον οποίο διεξάγονται βιωματικά εργαστήρια που σκοπό έχουν να φέρνουν τον άνθρωπο πιο κοντά στη φύση και τον φυσικό τρόπο ζωής.

Λίγα λόγια για το εργαστήρι
Στη Φωνή εν Κινήσει εξερευνάται η ελευθερία της φωνής, προσεγγίζοντας τη φωνή ως σωματική λειτουργία, ως μέσο έκφρασης και ως μέσο σύνδεσης - με τον εαυτό, τους άλλους, το σύνολo.

Βασικοί μας οδηγοί σ’ αυτό το ταξίδι είναι η κίνηση, ο αυτοσχεδιασμός, και η έμφυτη ικανότητά μας να ακούμε - την αναπνοή, το σώμα, τις αισθήσεις μας, τα σώματα και τις φωνές των άλλων, τον συλλογικό μας ήχο, τη μουσική που γεννάμε ως ομάδα.

Κάθε μέρα η προσέγγιση κινείται σταδιακά από την εσωτερική εστίαση (σώμα, αναπνοή, αισθήσεις), προς την εξωτερική (αλληλεπίδραση, συντονισμός, συνδημιουργία), από το προσωπικό προς το συλλογικό, θέλοντας να εξερευνήσουμε, ανάμεσα σε άλλα, πώς αυτά τα δύο πεδία συνυπάρχουν, συμπληρώνουν και τροφοδοτούν το ένα το άλλο.

Μέσα απ’ τις δύο αυτές συμπληρωματικές εστιάσεις, του ακούω προς τα μέσα και ακούω προς τα έξω, γεννιώνται κι οι δύο συμπληρωματικές πρακτικές, το Άνοιγμα της Φωνής και οι Κύκλοι Πολυφωνικού Αυτοσχεδιασμού.

Άνοιγμα της φωνής

~ Ξεκινώντας από το σώμα, ακούγοντάς το και ενεργοποιώντας το, εξερευνούμε πώς η παρατήρηση και η κίνηση μας φέρνουν στο παρόν κι επιτρέπουν στην αναπνοή να βαθύνει, ανοίγοντας τη δίοδο για την ελεύθερη φώνηση

~ Συνδέοντας τη φωνή με κινητικές δράσεις, αρχίζει να ελευθερώνεται το διάφραγμα και να μαλακώνουν οι περιττές εντάσεις στην περιοχή του λαιμού, οπότε εξερευνούμε την εύκολη - αβίαστη φώνηση κατα μήκος του εύρους μας, ανοίγοντας χώρο στο σώμα για τη φωνή

~ Μπαίνοντας σε ταξίδια αυτοσχεδιασμού, σε ζευγάρια, εξερευνούμε την εκφραστική δύναμη της φωνής. Ξεκινώντας από τις ανάγκες και το ένστικτο του σώματός μας για κίνηση, προσεγγίζουμε τις ανάγκες και το ένστικτο της φωνής μας για έκφραση (ήχος-λόγος-τραγούδι), αφήνοντας πρώτα το σώμα, κι έπειτα τη φωνή να γίνει η οδηγός.

Κύκλοι Πολυφωνικού Αυτοσχεδιασμού

~ Ως ομάδα πλέον, συντονίζουμε τις φωνές μας συνδημιουργώντας μουσικά ηχοτοπία. Καλλιεργούμε την ικανότητα του να ακούμε, με προσοχή κι ευαισθησία, να συντονιζόμαστε με τις υπόλοιπες φωνές, κι εν τέλει με τους ανθρώπους γύρω μας.

~ Πυροδοτούμε την μουσικότητα και τον αυθορμητισμό μέσα από παιχνίδια-συνθήκες αυτοσχεδιασμού και εναρμόνισης. Μέσα απ’ την σταδιακή προσθήκη φωνητικών μοτίβων σε αρμονία συνδημιουργούμε πολυφωνία και συλλογικά τραγούδια της στιγμής, γύρω από θεματικές της επιλογής μας.

~ Τέλος εξερευνούμε το group solo: όταν όλη η ομάδα δημιουργεί μια μουσική βάση για να υποστηρίξει τον αυτοσχεδιασμό μίας φωνής κάθε φορά, που οδηγεί το συλλογικό τραγούδι.


Πού απευθύνεται

Το εργαστήρι απευθύνεται σε όλους όσους το κάλεσμά του αντηχεί, ανεξαρτήτως εμπειρίας, ικανότητας, ηλικίας και φυσικής κατάστασης. Όλα τα επίπεδα εμπειρίας είναι ευπρόσδεκτα και συμπράττουν δημιουργικά στην συγκεκριμένη προσέγγιση.

*Τα μαθήματα θα γίνουν Σάββατο, Κυριακή και Δευτέρα, ωστόσο το κάλεσμα είναι από Παρασκευή. Για όσους δεν έχουν τη δυνατότητα να έρθουν από Παρασκευή, οι αφίξεις γίνονται το Σάββατο μέχρι τις 11.00.

Διαμονή, φαγητό, κόστος και μετακίνηση

Η διαμονή γίνεται στα μονόκλινα-δίκλινα-τρίκλινα-τετράκλινα δωμάτια της Μονής, που έχουν την ίδια τιμή, και δίνονται με προτεραιότητα κατα την κράτηση

Το φαγητό είναι χορτοφαγικό, αν υπάρχουν διατροφικές ιδιαιτερότητες ενημερώστε μας. Θα υπάρχουν φρούτα διαθέσιμα για ενδιάμεσα στα δύο κυρίως γεύματα

Το συνολικό κόστος που συμπεριλαμβάνει το εργαστήρι, όλα τα γεύματα, και τη διαμονή είναι

 - 190, για τρεις νύχτες (από την Παρασκευή) 

- 160, για δύο νύχτες (από το Σάββατο)

*Υπάρχει ένα έξτρα κόστος των 5 €  ανα νύχτα αν θέλετε να τα παρέχει η Μονή τα σεντόνια και τις πετσέτες. Κουβέρτες διατίθενται ούτως ή άλλως

Θα μοιραστούμε σε αμάξια και θα αναχωρήσουμε Παρασκευή απόγευμα και Σάββατο πρωί. Ενδεικτικά, τα έξοδα μετακίνησης για ένα κανονικό αμαξι απο την Αθήνα είναι 60 € η βενζίνη και 20 € τα διόδια πηγαινέλα

Βιογραφικό

Η Αννα Λούνα Λούβαρη φοίτησε σε σχολές χορού (προπαρασκευαστικό τμήμα της ΚΣΟΤ, 1ο έτος στο Trinity Laban) κι έπειτα, ψάχνοντας σπουδές στις οποίες να μπορεί να εξερευνήσει την φωνή και την κίνηση παράλληλα, στράφηκε προς το σωματικό θέατρο. Δούλεψε με δασκάλους τη Ρόζα Προδρόμου, τον Σταμάτη Ευσταθίου, την Αλεξάνδρα Καζάζου και άλλους, ενώ παράλληλα αποφοίτησε ως ηθοποιός από τη Σχολή Θεάτρου Δήλος (2020).

Δίνοντας πια έμφαση στο άνοιγμα της φωνής μέσω της κίνησης, άρχισε να παρακολουθεί εκπαιδεύσεις στην μέθοδο Roy Hart με δασκάλους όπως Ulrik Barfod, Edda Heeg, Walli Hoffinger, Saule Rhyan, και άλλους, και αποφοίτησε από το μονοετές πρόγραμμα «Voice in artistic expression» στο κέντρο Roy Hart (2024).

Όσον αφορά το τραγούδι, άρχισε να το αγαπά ως μέλος χορωδιών (όπως Rosarte), και συνέχισε κάνοντας μονωδία με την Dinah Stieringer, την Ευαγγελία Καρακατσάνη κ.α. Έχει εργαστεί στο χώρο του θεάτρου και με παιδιά (μουσικοκινητική αγωγή, play based learning), και από το 2022 διδάσκοντας εργαστήρια και εβδομαδιαία μαθήματα πάνω στο άνοιγμα της φωνής και τον πολυφωνικό αυτοσχεδιασμό.

Η Φωνή εν Κινήσει είναι ένα κράμα από τις διαφορετικές προσεγγίσεις στις οποίες εκπαιδεύθηκε κι ανακαλύψεις από την προσωπική της πρακτική, δεμένες ανάγκη να μοιραστεί την μαγεία που συμβαίνει όταν κανείς αφήνεται να οδηγηθεί από τη φωνή και το σώμα του, καθώς και τη δύναμη του να συντονίζονται πολλές διαφορετικές φωνές acapella, στο συλλογικό τραγούδι της στιγμής.

Releasing Voice & Circles of Polyphonic Improvisation 

with Anna Luna Louvari


A workshop on freeing the voice. A freedom that comes when the voice connects deeply to the body, to whatever one feels, and that it soars, when it joins in the unitive power of the group. We will approach the voice through movement, touch, improvisation, interaction with the other bodies and voices, attunement, and collective creation, in the wonderful nature of Erymanthos river!

Few words about the Monastery

Poretsou Monastery was built in 1611, and renovated in 2013. It is in the region of Kalavrita in between the villages of Agrambela and Platanitsa, amidst rich forests. It is situated on the foothills of mount Erymanthos, in a hight of 900 metres, just above the shores of Erymanthos river.

It doesn’t have its own brotherhood and since 2023 its activity is coordinated by the non-profit organisation “Another Way”. It now functions as a traditional guesthouse where experiential workshops are held, with a focus of bringing people closer to nature and natural living.

Few words about the workshop

In Voice in Movement we explore the freedom of the voice, approaching voice as a physical function, as means for expression and as means for connection – to the self, the others, the ensemble, ad nature in this case.

Our main companions in this journey are movement, improvisation, and the innate capacity to listen – to our breathing, our body, our sensations, to the voices and bodies of others, to our collective sound, to the music we give birth to as a group.

Each day the process moves gradually from an inward focus (body, breathing, inner sensations), to an outward focus (interaction, attunement, co-creation), in other words, from the personal to the collective, wanting to explore, among other things, how these two planes of focus coexist, complement and nurture each other.

Through these two complementary planes of focus, of listening inwards and listening outwards, somewhere in between, are born the two complementary practices, Releasing Voice and Circles of Polyphonic Improvisation.

Releasing Voice

- Beginning from the body, listening to it and awakening it, we will explore how observation and movement bring us to the present, gradually releasing our breathing, thus opening the way for releasing the voice.

- Connecting voice with certain movements, our diaphragms release further, we begin to channel more and more of our breathing’s potential into the voice, the tensions in the area of the throat begin to soften, and we explore ease in our range, opening space in the body for the voice.

- We explore the expressive power of voice. We embark on improvisation journeys with the support of a partner. Beginning from the needs and instincts of our body for movement, we approach the needs and instincts of our voice for expression (sound – speech – singing), by allowing first the body and then the voice to guide the way.

Circles of Polyphonic Improvisation

~ Tuning into the group now, we begin to create musical soundscapes. We dive into the capacity of listening, with attention and sensitivity, and of attuning to the surrounding voices.

~ We spark our musicality and spontaneity through playful structures of improvisation, tuning and harmonising. Through the gradual addition of vocal patterns in harmony, we co-create polyphony, and collective songs of the moment on themes of our choice.

~ Lastly we explore the «group solo»: when the whole group creates a musical base to support the improvisation of a solo voice, while she leads the collective song.


For whom

This workshop is for everyone who feels the invitation resonant, regardless of experience, capacity, age or physical condition. All levels of experience are welcome and coexist fruitfully in this approach.

The classes will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but the invitation is from Friday night. For those who don’t have the possibility to come from Friday, arrivals on Saturday will be until 11.00.

Accommodation, food, cost and transportation 

Accommodation is at the single/double/triple/quadruple rooms of the Monastery, that have the same price and will be assigned to each person upon booking.

Food will be vegetarian, if there are any dietary sensibilities please let us know. There will also be fruit available in between main meals.

The full cost that includes the workshop, all meals and the accommodation is

**There is an addition of 5 euros per night if you would rather that the Monastery provides sheets and towels

We will be distributed in cars and depart Friday evening and Saturday morning. Indicatively, the transportation cost for a normal car departing from Athens is 60 € for gasoline and 20€ for tolls, return.

Bio

Anna Luna Louvari studied contemporary dance (preparatory year in the State School of Dance, 1st BA year in Trinity Laban) and then, searching for studies that combined both movement and voice exploration, she moved towards physical theatre and started training with teachers such as Rosa Prodromou, Stamatis Efstathiou, Alexandra Kazazou, among others. In parallel she graduated from BA in Acting in Dilos Theatre School (2020).

Continuing this work, the release of the voice through movement and vocal improvisation became her emphasis, so she started training with teachers of the Roy Hart Centre such as Ulrik Barfod, Edda Hegg, Walli Hoffinger among others, while then she graduated from the one-year course “Voice in Artistic Expression” at the Centre Artistique International Roy Hart (2024).

When it comes to singing, she began to love it from when she was little as a member of choirs (like Rosarte) and later on trained individually with Dinah Stieringer, Evangelia Karakatsani and others. She has worked in theatre and with children (play based teaching and musical – movement play in groups), and since 2022 she is giving workshops on releasing the voice and polyphonic improvisation.

Voice in Movement is a combination of the different approaches she has trained in and discoveries from her own practice, brought together by the need to share the magic that happens when one allows to be guided by their voice and body, as well as the power of many different voices joining each other harmonically into the song of the moment.
