Events in Patna

You must visit Patna for its ancient elements dating back to 3000 years, if you're fascinated by history. Kumruhar is a site containing the archaeological remains of the Mauryan Palace excavated in 1912 is a great sight for the eyes. Built in 1786, the Golghar is an architectural splendor which must be paid a visit for its unique shape and the view as the Ganges flows beneath it. Then there is Patna Museum containing almost 45,000 artifacts some of which date back to thousands of years which must be paid a tribute by going there. Two other major fascinations of the city are Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden and the Sri Krishna Science Centre. The zoo was established in 1969 and is home to hundreds of different species. The Science centre has various spots for the Science enthusiasts like the ‘fun science gallery' and the 3-D dinosaur show.
